ACTOR JOHNNY WHITAKER

By the age of  9, Johnny Whitaker was a veteran of televison and an established film star. Johnny was riding the crest of the Hollywood wave until something tragic happened: He turned 18 and became wealthy in a hurry and that is when his life got real. Too much time and too much money is the deathnell of most child stars but Johnny Whitaker. He survived child stardom due largely to really great parents. Having overcome adversity, personal and professional trials and tribulations, Johnny Whitaker has found redemption in the same people who watched him grow up on TV and in the movies, and ladies and gentlemen, HE LIVED TO TELL THE STORY and he is my very special guest on this special weekend edition of  "Whats the Buzz: America's Best Popcast"
